“Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting, over and over announcing your place in the family of things”
Mary Oliver
About me
My name is Bronwyn (she/her).
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with over 10 years experience in mental health and counselling with organisations such as Mind Australia, Headspace, Canteen and La Trobe University.
Everybody in every body is welcome in my therapy space.
I aim to create a sense of home to those that I work with and bring a lot of warmth, presence and care to the therapeutic space. I believe that therapy can provide a unique opportunity to be curious about our relationships with self or other to uncover new wisdom or meaning.
Being a counsellor is something I truly enjoy. It teaches me a lot about our interconnectedness and kinship with each other and the world.
Beyond my AMHSW credentials I draw on further training in somatic-based work, attachment and developmental approaches, process-oriented psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy.
